The speed and therefore fuel consumption of a ship is significantly affected by the cleanliness/dirtiness state of the underwater hull and the screw. In the light of the feedbacks we received from our customers, it has been observed that, after screw polishing, the speed of the ship usually increases by 10% (± 5 %). Also, in order for the surveyor to be able to see the state of the underwater hull and the screw clearly during Class survey (interim survey or extension survey), it should be dear.
