ABOUT
TURGUT REİS
Our maritime adventure started on March 1969, at Alaybey Shipyard, during the times when the Turkish maritime was virtually a single body displaying activity under Denizcilik Bankasi (Maritime Bank); we parted company with the state while a Chief of Machine Shops and we established the company Turgut Reis Denizcilik Işletmesi, starting to display activity as a private industry firm, in the year 1981.
Currently, we are the oldest ~ and as we believe, the only ~ establishment in Izmir, with all kinds of team members and equipment necessary for the building and repair of submarine and surface ships.
With our underwater Class survey licenses, our Class institutions-licensed welders, and our ISO certificates, we provide service for the maritime industry, both underwater and on the surface, with occupation safety being our priority. The constant principles of our firm have always been quality, service, timely job delivery, and fair price. According to us, honesty and quality in service, guarantee success and stability in trade.

During the subsequent years, we provided all kinds of service to countless ships and to the maritime industry, together with Erdoğan ERDOĞANLAR (the bird), a 1956 alumni of Istanbul Technical
University School of Maritime, Engine Department, in harmony. We acted as subcontractor in the building and outfitting of many ships manufactured in Alaybey shipyard, as we successfully delivered the works we had undertaken. In the year 1997, we performed underwater works for the first. In consequence of the persistent demands of our shipbuilder friends, we also provided service as ship
' storekeeper, for a significant period of time. While we carried out our business, we also raised some of our employees to continue to run the relay race. We ensured these employees to be raised in profession, we oriented them to the maritime industry, and we took pride in their achievements.
